Dr. Scott grew up in Plano, before being accepted into college at the University of North Texas. His passion for learning bloomed early as Dr. Scott went on to earn a bachelor of science in 2014. His focus at the time was perfecting his knowledge of the business and hospitality industries.
However, there was something Dr. Scott couldn’t deny. A love for dentistry, just like his father, Dr. Patrick Aduddell, and his brother, Dr. Kevin Aduddell. When Dr. Patrick first established his Plano dental office, he shared this motto with the patients, “I will never recommend to a patient something I would not recommend for myself.” Dr. Scott took this motto with him when he completed his Dental Doctorate at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in 2020.
Fast forward to today, and you’ll find that Dr. Patrick’s sons, Dr. Kevin Aduddell and Dr. Scott Aduddell, are upholding this philosophy with dedication and determination. Our talented family team remains focused and passionate about bringing high-quality care to every patient, whenever possible.
What drove Dr. Scott to follow in his family’s footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry? He found that he developed a love for interacting and working with people over the years after seeing his dad work so closely with his patients. Dr. Scott loves helping others, catering to them in ways they never thought possible. He attributes this to studying hospitality as an undergraduate, which also contributes to his restaurant “foodie” lifestyle that he’s still immersed in. Dr. Scott is certified in both oral sedation and Invisalign®. He’s forever committed to learning new techniques, technologies, and advancements in dentistry through continuing education. Dr. Scott’s goal as a dentist is to “provide a hospitable approach for all of my patients as if they were my own family.”
Outside the office, Dr. Scott helped Dr. Kevin establish and run Quest Care Urgent Dental Clinic and completed a dental mission trip to Jamaica in 2018. Dr. Scott is the proud husband of Caitlynn Aduddell and they now live in his hometown of Plano. He is devoted to his two dogs: Yahmi, a sweet, elderly Chihuahua-Yorkie mix, and Lady, a playful young golden retriever. He enjoys spending time with them, golfing, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Stars, Rangers and Mavericks, spending time with friends, listening to music, trying new restaurants, attending concerts and traveling.
